South Sefton Development Trust | Print |  Email The South Sefton Development Trust (SSDT) supports the development of new social enterprise activity in the area. It does so by providing assistance to organisations (or groups of people) wishing to set up new social enterprises, and to existing social enterprises that wish to develop new trading activities in the South Sefton area. This can entail: Working with groups to help them develop their ideas Advice on how to set up as a social enterprise Referral to specialist assistance e.g. such as specialist advice funding, Skillworks programmes, Best Practice Frameworks and Business Links Provision of sector-specific training Guidance for applicants wishing to access the range of funds offered by SSDT The Trust has provided funding to 3tc Solutions Limited’s new Virtual Office trading activity. As a social enterprise we recognise the growing demand for affordable office space within South Sefton, particularly for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME’s) and start-up businesses. 3tc already successfully provides managed workspace facilities to a number of voluntary and community organisations. 3tc Solutions Limited now wishes to build on this concept by combining the company’s best managed office space features, link these to available conference facilities, offer a completely new range of resources and introduce the cost benefits of advanced telephony services through the Virtual Office. The market for Virtual Offices in Merseyside is at an early stage of development. 3tc Solutions Limited, whilst committed to the concept, would not have been in a position to offer this facility exclusively from its own resources. The Trust’s support has been vital in establishing a much-needed Virtual Office presence in South Sefton. It is vital that the area can offer such services in a developing market, as part of a menu of measures to develop businesses, strengthen growth sectors and improve access to jobs, encouraging start-ups and social entrepreneurs.   [ Back ]
